Call to Worship
But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

-Unison Confession:
Let us confess our sin before God and one another.
Dear Lord God,
I cannot count the sins that I have done and still do.
I have forgotten most of them and still feel my guilt.
My works and my powers only make me despondent.
I do not know what else to do but to hope and pray for your mercy.
As grace and faith control me, I am devout through Christ.
Where these fail me, I know and confess that nothing good is left in me.
No matter how long I live, it will never be different.
My joy and comfort is that you, knowing these things,
accept me as righteous in your sight—
not because of my works—
but because of the work of Jesus, my Savior.
-Silent prayer
-Assurance of Pardon:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Greeting Time
Pastoral Prayer followed by the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Westminster Shorter Catechism Question 35
Q. What is sanctification?
A. Sanctification is the work of God’s free grace by which we are renewed in our whole person in the image of God and by which we are enabled more and more to die to sin and live to righteousness.
